Your practical driving test can be applied for once your theory test pass has been achieved.

You can apply online, by phone or by post. The cost is £62 and the waiting time can be between 2 and 8 weeks.

If you need to wear glasses to read a car number plate from 20 metres, you will need to wear them for driving.

The test will last around 40 minutes, once you have completed the pre-determined test route.
